This is my favorite skate shoe and I am being dead serious
when I say I've bought at least 60 pairs in a row. They are
great for flip tricks, great for board feel, and extremely
light. The vulcanized sole is great and the shoes break in
almost right away with no effort. They do tend to wear out
quickly if you skate a lot, however, given the materials the
shoe isn't expected to last forever as much as it is
designed to be a comfortable and more importantly functional
skate shoe. I hope they always include a plain black with
white sole in their occasionally crazy color line ups, but
aside from that, I don't think you can go wrong with this
shoe for skating or looking good at the bar.

I was surprised to see the quality of these shoes. I ordered
them in the Chambray Gray and White and they look and feel
like an expensive shoe. They go great for just casual wear,
as I like to wear them with jeans. I've owned several Vans
in my lifetime and these are by far a better quality than
their other shoes. They are padded in the tongue to make
them fit and feel better. It actually stays on your feet
unlike the Era's or the Authentic's that like to slide
around. All in all, it's a great shoe that anyone would love
in probably any color. It's a good, taller alternative to

I am a moderately aggressive skater. I don't skate too
often, nor skate that hard. These shoes came apart very
quickly. The side of the shoe has holes from ollies, and the
toe is shredding. The grip on these shoes is quite good, but
they just wear too fast. I will warn you, if you are an
aggressive skater, do not get the denim ones. They last mere
hours. Next time, I definitely will not buy the denim shoes.
Also, there is very little impact protection. landing flat
after a drop really hurts you're feet in these shoes. I
would imagine these shoes would be good for casual wearers
and long boarders, but not street skaters.

I bought these to wear with a suit in my wedding. A lot of
people will wear Chucks/Converse all stars, but I wanted
something different. Something casual, yet still sexy and
matching. These shoes in the Brown Tweed were it. These have
the comfort that you won't find in the converse or the slip
on. Good support, nice padding and the Brown Tweed pattern
matches perfectly with a darker tan suit. Yeah, wearing them
with a suit isn't for everyone, but if you're trying to look
stylish and going for more of the "casual" in business
casual, the Brown Tweed Chukka Low shoes will do the trick.
The brown leather Atwoods aren't bad for a casual brown
dress shoe either.

I'm a skilled and sponsored biker and a casual boarder and
these are the only shoes I will ever shred in! Well these
and my authentic. I have tried many other shoes, some made
specifically for biking and these come out on top. They are
inexpensive, they have excellent grip and durability they
are very true to size and width. They are very stylish and I
wear these all the time. This is my actually 5th pair! I've
got these in white with the black line and laces right now.
They look great with everything and very comfortable. The
one thing I don't like is the lining on the inside of the
heel wears off rather quickly and becomes a small twisted
string/rope of fabric strung across the inside if the shoe.
I don't know if its me but every pair I have ever had has
done this. But these are definitely the shoes to get!
