I wear these daily at school. They wear well and feel really
comfortable right out of the box. These are fantastic for
longboarding as you get good board feel. I've heard they
tear easily for regular skating so I'd look elsewhere if
you're a hardcore skater although if you do skate you should
be used to buying a lot of shoes. That's just how the sport
is. Stop reading this and buy yourself a pair. Seriously.

The shoes are two weeks old. They have been worn for casual,
non-athletic use only and the stitching is ripping in
multiple places. The thread shows weakening in other spots.
Were the shoes made with poor quality thread?

I use these shoes for every thing every day until they
ripped they were great for skating bike riding and running
they lasted 8 months until they started to rip they would've
lasted a lot more if I didn't do all that I have no
complains best first shoes I ever bought from vans

This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest skate shoes ever
made. I just received my second pair of chukka's (first one
gray, new pair herringbone) and they're perfect right out of
the box. This shoe is good for almost anything (I mountain
bike and skateboard in them). Best Shoes Ever!

I have two other pairs of Vans both the same size 11 1/2 as
these new ones and both of them fit fine. But these shoes
are so tight across the middle as to be very uncomfortable
to wear. I will try to stretch them and see if that helps.
Besides the fit issue the shoes seem well made and

The Chukka Lows are the BOMB! I've been rock'n them for
almost a decade now and i don't want to switch. But
seriously, what happen to the quality of the product Vans?!
I Bought myself a new pair recently and within a week the
shoe was falling apart (mostly longboarding)I have two main
problem with the new way of putting the shoe together, but
the overall quality has downgraded for sure! One is the
sole.. why is it not the b@dass original sole that last
forever?! what happen to it, it just disappeared! the
solution is clearly not the same. And second is the tongue..
why cut corners?! the tongue is now thicker and the elastics
have been removed.. why?!Anywho my two cents, I'm just
bummed. been rocking chukka lows for years now and they just
seem sluggish to me, cheap! i don't know what pair of shoe
to get anymore
